I purchased 50+ matter-over-thread spotlights from Nanoleaf plus a 3 strips thinking I could control them through Google Home (with a couple of Google Nests as thread routers) or at least with the Nanoleaf app. That was a mistake. The lights worked probably 20% of the time. They would always lose connection and could only get them to work if I set them up again from scratch. Just when I was about to throw them to the bin and go back to Hue, the switches came about. I now have 7-8 switches around the house and that's the only relieable way to use my lights. It would be better if I didn't need them but at least now I can use my lights.

The litewave functionality is very good. I wish the pausing of the sensors was followed by a confirmation led signal. Finally I wish the magnets were stronger. Clearly not is powerful as the Hue switches I'm replacing.

Really handy little switch, it’s compact, looks great and the sensor is a nice addition compared to the switches you’d get for Hue lights. Somewhat limited in options on the button customisations (would like to be able to choose my own group scenes with button presses) but I can imagine these will be updated and improved with time.

I bought this to control 6 Nanoleaf NL65 downlighters in my kitchen. Unfortunately when I try and add these lights it says they need a firmware update which isn’t available in the Nanoleaf app.
This switch is useless to me

Very good design small not to big, the only part that I don’t love that it is not available with the smart bulbs. I don’t know if it is because I don’t have any hub.
