I bought the first Skylight for my wife’s sewing room a few months ago and it is just so good I bought one for my home office. Fitting is easy as long as you follow the instructions and find a willing helper for just the first square. As a workspace light these are excellent. The next one will be going in the garage! I have just added the Sense + switch to one room with the Skylight and it works really well. My only criticism is that the Nanoleaf app is not very intuitive and the Skylight’s connection can be lost to HomeKit which can be annoying. Otherwise I will certainly consider buying another one soon. It is not decorative or stylish, but as a bright light it is excellent and I thoroughly recommend it for work spaces.

The lights are great, and while I could not work out how to get it to do cool colours, my son worked it out in about 5 minutes. He loves various functions on it, and it certainly is fun. Only thing is that I wish that the surface of the lights were more matte. When the lights aren't on, they look a bit clinical and cheap. When on, it looks great.

My shipment was missing the mounting plates for the ceiling I saw in videos. I thought every panel has its own controller, so they can be operated separately. This is kind of a bummer. But my fault. Still, next to the missing plates,It is also not possible to buy the missing Led controllers separately. Would not recommend the product.with only one led controller, not worth the price.

Beware, Nanoleaf Skylights are not certified for use in New Zealand. Our electrician will not install them without the correct electrical certification. Nanoleaf did respond to questions about this but are noncommittal on when certification will happen. Very disappointing that they are actively selling these into NZ without this!
